Newman’s Field
Information about Newman's Field
This field was donated to the Parish Council by Joseph Newman in 1971 to be “used to provide a recreation centre first for the benefit of the residents of Henfield…secondly for other Westerleigh parishioners and thirdly for the benefit of youth and sports organisations in the district”.
Newman’s Field is located directly adjacent to Bitterwell Lake and can be accessed via Henfield Hall car park.
Please note – for the safe enjoyment of the field by all visitors the following rules apply:
- No camping
- No fires
- No BBQs
- No smoking
- Please place litter in the bins provided
